Elizabeth Woodson (she/her)
Executive Director

Elizabeth is a 12th generation European American settler descended from people of Britton, Celtic and Germanic cultures. For a decade, Elizabeth has worked towards racial equity through philanthropy at the Emerson Collective, direct services at Columbus House and the Bridgeport Public Defenders, and public education at the Equal Justice Initiative where she contributed to the research, development and opening of the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Informed by growing up in segregated Fairfield County, Connecticut and fighting sexual violence as student body president at Stanford University, Elizabeth is an experienced Theater of the Oppressed facilitator, community organizer, and researcher. Elizabeth lives on unceded Maskoke territory (Montgomery, Alabama).

Kendall Allison (they/them)
Program Manager

Kendall is a comedian and writer based in so-called New York City. They are currently pursuing an MA in Liberal Studies at CUNY. They organize toward the solidarity economy with Resource Generation. Their ancestors have been in the United States since the 1600s, and come from England, Germany, Switzerland, and Scotland. They were raised in so-called Oakland, California.

Emily Davis-Hale (they/them)
Operations Manager

Emily is a descendant of long Western European occupation of the southeastern United States, a landscape intimately tied to its colonial history. Their PhD in linguistic anthropology focused on the mutual influence of narrative and society in shaping the narrow composition of mythohistory. Today, they work to support salient social missions by strengthening organizational infrastructure. They reside on Chickasaw/Cherokee/Shawnee/Yuchi lands in Huntsville, Alabama.

Feedback Ecosystem

Reckon With collaborates with dozens of movement practitioners with whom we meet consistently to receive guidance.

Our feedback community is organized into three councils: Advisors and Elders, Practitioners, and Peers. Each person is resourced for their time and insights, either by direct financial compensation or by donation to a Black, Indigenous or People of Color-led organization of their choice.

We are so grateful to this community, whose ongoing care provides the rigor and wisdom required for the healthy evolution of our work.
